About 5 years ago I went to a party that changed my life. The party started with written “party agreements” and I wondered just what I had gotten myself into.
It was my first true Safe Space Event. It was full of people who were trusted to embody that safe space. It’s amazing how people open up and be authentic and playful when they are truly safe.
Since then, I have made safe spaces a big part of who I am. I create them, I teach them, and I try to embody them. Now I’d like to share them with you. Here are the safe space agreements I use at my events. This is 5 years worth of fine tuning and iteration. I hope it sets you free.
